EVANS, EWAN & BRADY INSURANCE AGENCY RECEIVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION
The Central Insurance Companies recently announced that Evans, Ewan & Brady Insurance Agency of Georgetown, TX is their “Greenest” agency.
Central’s policyholders are able to manage their policies via the company’s online portal, called myCentral®. In addition, they may eliminate the paper often associated with insurance policies by opting for electronic delivery of their policy information, as well as e-payment of their premiums. All of these options result in significant reductions in paper usage.
While these options are available to all of Central’s policyholders, the usage rates are much higher for the customers of Evans, Ewan & Brady than of any other agency in the country. Central Vice President of Customer Service Cindy Hurless attributes that to the agency staff. “The e-options we have developed at Central offer people a way to eliminate paper while having access to their insurance information at any time, online. However, getting our policyholders to understand and sign up for these options can be challenging. The people at Evans, Ewan & Brady work very closely with their Central customers to help them sign up for myCentral, and to take advantage of our various electronic options. Without their personal involvement, fewer customers would be benefitting from these great programs.”
Evans, Ewan & Brady has placed almost 5,000 policies with Central, and more than a quarter of their Central customers are users of myCentral®. Eleven percent are receiving their billing statements via email rather than snail mail, and twelve percent have turned off the paper and are reviewing their policies online. When it comes to premium payment, forty-four percent of the agency’s Central customers have chosen the ease and convenience of electronic funds transfer (EFT).
Evans, Ewan & Brady has been serving the insurance needs of Texas businesses and individuals since 1928. As an independent insurance agency, they represent multiple insurance companies and tailor insurance to best fit the needs of their customers. In recognition of their “green” achievement, Central will be planting a tree at their Georgetown agency location. Staff members will receive Central GoGreen shirts and tumblers, and will be honored for their efforts at a luncheon.
